Website Terms and Conditions
Blue Badgers
Blue Badgers is operated by BB Card Services Limited, a company with the number 15196516. When we say Blue Badgers below, we mean BB Card Services Limited.
These terms and conditions
- These terms and conditions govern use of the Blue Badgers website to access online deals, products and services, buy gifts and save money and use of our physical and digital Blue Badgers card.
- If you use this website, it means you agree to follow these terms and conditions and you agree that neither Blue Badgers nor any of its staff, directors or owners is responsible for any information contained on this website or products or services bought or sold on it.
The website
- Blue Badgers provides access to discounts on behalf of third-party businesses that sell products and services. When you buy something from these businesses, your purchase is made on their websites, not the Blue Badgers website. It is the businesses selling products and services which are responsible for making sure your payment is safe and secure and not Blue Badgers.
- The businesses on the Blue Badgers website can change, add or remove their offers at any time.
- If an offer doesn’t work or give you a discount as advertised, please tell Blue Badgers through the Contact Us part of the website.
Affiliates networks and offers
- Blue Badgers shows links and codes for businesses that want to give you a discount. All the information about an offer comes from the business itself, so Blue Badgers is not responsible for any mistakes, the content of offers or you acting on them. This includes if an offer is not working, a link is old or the offer text is wrong.
- Links to other websites on the Blue Badgers website are not controlled or checked by Blue Badgers. Even though Blue Badgers endeavours to engage with businesses using this website carefully, we are not responsible for anything on their websites or anything that goes wrong on their websites.
- All third-party trademarks mentioned on this website belong to their owners. Blue Badgers, its owners and its staff are not liable for any copyright or trademark infringements.
- Blue Badgers tries to make sure the services provided by this website work well but it is not responsible or liable for any downtime or problems or errors relating to this website or its content.
- Blue Badgers uses cookies to track the sales you make on other websites through our website. We don’t pass any personal information like your name or email address to those websites. We just use member ID numbers that have nothing to do with your details for tracking.
- By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to let Blue Badgers put these cookies on your computer/device. Please see the Cookie Policy for more details on the cookies we use and why.
- Some of the retailers on our service pay us when you buy something from them. When you click on a retailer from our service, your browser might send you through an affiliate network that puts a cookie on your computer. The cookie helps us keep track of your purchases so that when you visit a retailer through our service, they know that you came from Blue Badgers. The retailer will then tell us about your purchase. No personal information like your name or email address is involved in this process. We don’t put the affiliate network cookie on your computer, we just wanted to let you know about it before you use our service to buy something.
Members and passwords
- This website is only for people in the UK who have a disability or care for someone who does. Blue Badgers decides who can use this service and can change its membership requirements at any time. To access offers on this website you need to be older than 16 (with permission from parents or guardians if you are 16 or 17 years old).
- If you sign up as a Blue Badgers member, you have to keep your username and password safe and not tell anyone else. Blue Badgers can ask you to change your password anytime they think it’s necessary to protect your account.
- You have to make sure that your details are up to date. Please see the Privacy Notice to find out what information we keep about you.
- You are not allowed to make more than one account for yourself. If you forget or lose your password, you must use the link that says “forgotten password”. If that doesn’t work, you will need to contact Blue Badgers through the Contact Us part of the website. You can update your email address by going to your Account after you log in.
- Blue Badgers can revoke your access to the site, freeze your account or cancel your membership without telling you first if we think there is misuse of the site or a risk of harm to our mission or values, including but not limited to sharing discount codes.
Physical and digital cards
- The £4.99 you pay to get a card is for us to process your application. Physical Blue Badgers cards are sent by post to the address you give us if requested when you apply. Once we send the card, it’s up to Royal Mail to deliver it to you. Blue Badgers is not responsible for any lost or undelivered post once the card has left our hands.
- Tell Blue Badgers right away through the Contact Us area of the website if you do not receive your card, misplace your card or someone takes it. We may issue a replacement card for a £4.99 administration fee but we are not obligated to. We may decline for reasons unrelated to you in order to limit the overall number of cards we distribute. Our members will still have access to a digital version of their card accessible from a smartphone.
- Blue Badgers can’t give you your money back for a card that has been sent out but has not arrived or has been lost but if you do not wish to order a replacement you can continue to access a digital version of your card by going to your Account immediately after you log in.
